Matt Cullina has served as CEO of CyberScout since 2008. Under Cullina's leadership, CyberScout has evolved from a service provider enjoying strong partnerships among personal lines carriers in the United States to a multifaceted, award-winning provider of identity and data risk management, breach response, resolution and education services throughout all of North America and Western Europe.
CyberScout provides identity management services to nearly 45 million consumers and more than half of the P&C insurance marketplace, including 16 of the top 20 personal lines carriers. Today, the company boasts a 99-percent customer satisfaction rate and 98.5-percent client retention rate, while achieving record growth year-over-year.
Since its inception in 2003, CyberScout has provided data risk prevention and remediation services to more than 770,000 businesses, including insurance carriers, financial institutions, credit unions, healthcare, and employee benefit providers, as well as Fortune 500 and small to midsize companies.
Cullina spearheaded the creation of the Privacy XChange Forum, an intimate gathering focused on emerging topics in privacy and security. The event draws speakers from around the globe and has hosted experts from the FTC, IRS, White House, and Congress, among others.
Cullina serves on the board for the Identity Theft Resource Center (ITRC) and has been appointed as a member of the Rhode Island Cybersecurity Commission. He is a desired expert speaker on all topics related to identity theft, data risk management, and breach prevention and response.
Cullina is a graduate of Salve Regina University. He and his wife Virginia and their three children live in Providence, Rhode Island.
